The Central HUB environment serves as the world hub level to the game, players will return here once completing a level to store key items and then proceed into the newly unlocked area which branches out to the next level.
I was responsible for modelling, texturing, and detail set dressing the environment.
Our level designer set up the lighting for the scene and also did the first pass of the set dressing.
This was the second level that I modelled for the game, and due to its more complex design than the last I was struggling to come up with a way to model out the walls with all of the different angles and styles, so after a few weeks of racking my brain I chose to scrap what I had done and utilise modular panels to make up the various wall segments, this method allowed me to complete the geometry in a few days and then gave me more time to go through and texture in higher detail.
The environment and assets were modelled and textured using Maya, Substance Painter and Photoshop.
And was rendered in Unity.
